Typischer, vollmundiger Monastrell mit Aromen nach Holunder und Cassis, marmeladig, feine Würze, unkompliziert und weich aber dennoch mit Charakter. Hat mit Jahrgang 2011, 2012, 2013 jedes Mal bei Mundus Vini Gold gewonnen.

Egos Bodegas
Ein Projekt in den Kinderschuhen. Dahinter steckt der junge Unternehmer Santos Ortiz Sanz. Nach 15 Jahren Erfahrung als Geschäftsführer von Bodegas Luzon hat er sich entschieden, seine eigenen Weinberge in Jumilla zu bewirtschaften. 2010 hat er 25 ha Weinberg mit teilweise 50 Jahre alten Weinstöcken erworben. Die Winzer, denen das Land ursprünglich gehört hatte, haben die Fläche schon immer ökologisch bewirtschaftet. Ortiz Sanz ist der Überzeugung, dass Bio ein absolutes Plus ist, und dass die Region mit mehr als 3000 Sonnenstunden im Jahr optimale Klimaverhältnisse für die ökologische Landwirtschaft hat. Bei ihm wachsen Tempranillo, Syrah und der für die Region typische Monastrell.

Ausgezeichneter Rotwein. Geschmack hervorragend, Abgang etwas intensiv aber noch gut. Wird seine Liebhaber finden.
